Mackie and Dewar

On 1st November 2023 Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace LLP (RCCW) were delighted to acquire the private client business of the well-known and respected Aberdeen based law practice Mackie & Dewar. As a result Mackie & Dewar ceased to operate as a practice unit on 31 October 2023.

Partner Alistair Marshall has joined RCCW as a Consultant focusing on Residential Conveyancing and Private Client matters.  Alistair will oversee the smooth transition of the business to RCCW’s head office at 12-16  Albyn Place, Aberdeen. The criminal and family law buisness of Mackie & Dewar has gone elsewhere. Mike Monro, Mackie & Dewar’s Senior Partner, who has been the partner who has overseen the Criminal law case load, will not be moving to RCCW. He has accepted an invitation to join the Grant Smith Law Practice as a Consultant there where he will continue to practise in Criminal law.
